Returns Policy

We offer refunds or exchanges for any items you’re not completely happy within 14 days of delivery.

All items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds are issued to your original form of payment only.

Please note a returns processing charge of £1.99 per order will be deducted from your refund amount. Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items in accordance with our return policy. Please be aware custom fees are subject to each international order and may vary depending on the country.

Why do we charge for returns?

As a conscious small business, we want to do best by you and the environment. Returns are a tricky business, not only does the sustainable packaging need replacing, we need to check and mend the dresses to ensure they’re perfect before putting them back into stock, and refold them for the next bridesmaid to fall in love with.

We know that occasion wear is always going to be difficult to shop online, that is why we offer gorgeous swatch samples and our customer service team are on hand to ensure you only need to order the one dress which is perfect for you and your bridesmaids.

Therefore we have decided to join other mainstream retailers in charging to deal with the returns. Whilst we’re going this we are also working on ways to offer the best solutions for you to try on at home. Our inbox is always open for feedback.

All Bridesmaids Dress Returns

In order to ensure that every bridesmaid looks picture-perfect on your big day, we kindly ask that all dresses are returned to us in their original condition – new and unused. This means no make up, fake tan, deodorant marks, accidental spills, or snags.

What to Avoid
Unfortunately any dresses returned to us soiled, damaged, or altered will not be accepted for a refund or exchange.

Damaged in Transit? We’ve Got You Covered
While it’s rare, we understand that sometimes dresses can be damaged during transit. If your bridesmaid dress arrives in anything less than perfect condition due to our oversight, please action your exchange or refund and reach out to our team who will reimburse where necessary.

Before you try on
The material of our bridesmaid dresses is unbelievable quality, giving that gorgeous look and finish. This does mean however that the material is delicate, we suggest you consider anything that could transfer onto the fabric such as make up, fake tan, deodorant, heavy perfume, body oils, etc. We also please ask that you remove all jewellery to prevent it pull at fine material. We ask that you treat these dresses with the utmost respect please.

Exchanges

Simply select the new size when submitting your return and we will ship the new item out to you free of charge ☺️ Exchanges can only be made for a different size of the same item, not a completely different item.

How long will my return take to process?

We aim to process all returns/exchanges within 7-10 working days of us receiving the goods back in our studio, however in some busy periods this may take longer. We will do our best to process them as soon as possible for you.

Items not able to be returned

Due to hygienic purposes we do not refund or exchange any earrings.

Faulty items

If you received a faulty or incorrect item, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience it may cause. Please inform us within 14 days from receipt of the item and we will rectify the issue as quickly as possible. Please email heythere@sixstories.co.uk providing images of the item.
